Challenge Check in, Week 3

Weight last week: 228.0#
Weight this week: 230.4#
Difference: +2.4#

Ugh, UGH, I don't even want to talk about it.

I will say thank you for all for the supportive comments though, and thanks particularly to Lauren whose well timed chat over google stopped me from baking a batch of scones and then falling face first into them.

This is stupid, I'm being stupid. I'm exercising, if I eat right I will lose.

Here's the linky, you all know what to do. Please remember to add your links, just updating your blog isn't enough! We need to be able to actually go and see it.

  1. Draw a line under it and start again! It's not much in the big picture, a little blip that all :)

  2. We have all been there TC. All of us. Now leave it behind and move on. You can do this. I do not know if you read Dr. Fatty finds Fitness's blog. She writes honest and authentic about her own trials and challenges. She is inspirational. Here is her link:

  3. It's so easy to get discouraged. Don't believe the lies running through your head. You CAN get through this.

  4. Girl. That was me, 3 weeks ago. I finally had to stop stuffing myself with cookie dough ice cream long enough to say, "WTF? Amy. Go workout. This is only a minor set back." So, tell yourself to go eat healthier and that this is only a minor set back. :)

  5. Oh, I can so relate to your scone temptation. I dearly love scones - and my husband's homemade cookies. He baked his wonderful cookies last Saturday. Fortunately, I was out running errands and, since I prefer them fresh out of the oven, they weren't as tempting to me when I got home. You're exercising though and that has many merits, so you're still "working" this challenge in my mind. It's a new week - let's really kick some scone pounds to the curb this week!

  6. I made cookies. I feel ya!
    here's to a better week!

  7. Last week was bad, this week will be good. For sure! I so much wish you strength for a new beginning this week. Thanks for helping us all to loose weight. You have helped us to get started. Now we help you to keep going. Isn't that great?

  8. So sorry you had a bad week :(

Now that you have stumbled, it's time to pick yourself up, dust yourself off and get back on that horse.

We are all going to stumble through this, we are beating an addiction and it's not easy.

    Be strong!

  9. Hey, I have you beat by 1.6 pounds, so don't fret (I'm up 4 this week - talk about UGH!). It happens. We pick ourselves up and move on. Let's not let this derail us, but rather push us to simply do better this week. :-)

  10. Sorry you gained, this does happen. Jump back on the wagon and start losing. You can do it.
